I hope you are all having a great start to the year and like high school, or your new class for primary.
Starting high school wasnt scary like I thought it would be and I’ve enjoyed it heaps so far. Apart from older girls chucking rice at year 8′s and held back kids being annoying, high school has been better than Primary school for me.

Hey everyone!
Next Tuesday, the choir from a school in Christchurch is coming to stay with some kids from my school. As far as I know, everyone is excited about their arrival and is ready with open arms. During their stay they will perform songs at different places. Every 2nd year their schools choir comes to my school and the years in between my schools choir goes to stay with their school.
I will write another post with my billet when they arrive and then again after they leave.

Hey everyone or anyone!
If you read my last post before this one you would have known I went to El Shaddai for a school camp. I was so excited to go and it was worth it because I had heaps of fun. My favourite activities would have been… The giant swing, The vertical challenge, Archery, Going on the flying fox and the trampolines, Watching the magical act and just hanging around in my dorm with my friends at night time. On the giant swing plenty of people had a fear of heights and I think also quite a few people got over that fear. The giant swing was really tall and REALLY fun! I went all the way to the top. I didnt like canoeing or most of the water activities because it was freezing weather and it was raining. I think I would have enjoyed them more if it was warm weather. I still went in the water for raft making though.
The food there was also great. There was a good variety of different foods and for once at a camp, I liked them!
My favourite meal would have been the meat balls and rice. I also loved watching Madz (my friend) picking at her food and looking at it closely deciding whether to eat it or not.
I cant do a slide show at the moment because this post is from school. I will try one when I get back home.

Hey everyone,
Tomorrow, Monday the 21st of September, the year 6/7 students at my school are going on a camp to El Shaddai. We will be staying there two nights and three days. I cant wait! The students are seperated in to groups of around 10 for the cabins. Most students got to choose their placings within the cabins which was cool. That ment we get to be with our friends mostly. During the days there we do a variety of activities such as… Fishing, Canoeing, Earth ball, Giant swing, Raft making, Rock climbing and things like that. Its basically an outdoor camp. The teachers coming have told us to pack light. I am trying my best but somehow my luggage will only fit into the red suitcase I took to NZ last year with me for choir. I am really excited for camp because I have an awesome cabin and an awesome daytime activity group. I think I will have a lot of fun being with my friends for this camp. When I get back from El Shaddai I will write another post on how it was. I might also try to get a slide show of pictures working but I dont know how thats going to work. : )

Hey everybody!
Last night 5/8/09, I went to the P!NK concert at the entertainment centre. It was great!
Her backdrop was really cool and all of her dancers did great. She seemed really normal and down to earth for a famous person. At one stage she got in the crowd and started talking to people and at another time she just sat on stage having conversations with people. P!NK’s music was great and the start up band before her did awesome songs aswell, That was Evermore.
I got so many videos and photos but the sound on the videos is really bad because of screaming fans and tall people getting in my way but all together it was a great night. Anyone going soon will have great fun!

Hey everyone!
It’s the 3rd term already and IB projects have started. I dont know about you but I am excited about it!
I am making a “Yearly review newspaper” based on things that happen or did happen at school, places around me, places I go and just fun things for entertainment. For most of the things I write about I get a few people to answer a question about it, almost like an interview but a short one.
If you have any ideas of things I can put in my newspaper it would be great! Just leave a comment here with your idea!
All ideas are welcome and I have a lot of paper that needs filling.
